Leanne Winter Ba (hons) MBACP

Hi, I'm Leanne, a qualified integrative counsellor registered with the BACP. I work in a person centred way, offering a safe and compassionate space for clients to work through their issues and find clarity.

People often come to me when they're feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, stuck or hurting from grief of some other difficult life situation. My approach is empathetic and collaborative, I listen deeply, challenge gently, support you to explore what's holding you back, and find ways to help you move forwards. I work with individuals and couples over the age of 18.

Experience

Professional Journey

I spent many years working for the NHS in Employee Relations, and have a passion for helping people. Here I gained qualifications and experience as a coach and wellbeing support to my colleagues. As fulfilling as this role was, I knew I had more to offer and trained as a hypnotherapist, and later an advanced integrative counsellor. Due to my own personal journey, I have a special interest in relationship issues and grief.

Alongside my private practice I work as a volunteer counsellor for the Bereavement Counselling Service in Plymouth. I am a registered member of British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.
